Our theme in the IPC Women's Ministry is to serve and love our church as well as our community- Serving One Another Humbly In Love (Galatians 5:13)
The Women's Ministry Team are all women with hearts to serve our church and minister in His name. Titus 2:3-5 is really the only instruction we need. Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will not be dishonored.
Bible Studies, small groups, mentoring, hospitality, serving and doing all we can to build up the body of Christ is just one side of our ministry. It is our heart to reach the world for Christ through praying, sending, giving and sharing the hope of God's redeeming love through His son the Lord Jesus Christ. The world promises freedom for women, "be liberated," but God promises, in Me you will have the abundant life. We are to pattern our lives not after the world, but after the Word of God. I invite all women to come and be a part of this vital ministry in our church.
