Helping Hand
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. - Galatians 6:10
There are IPC members/friends who are in need of help with simple home maintenance, such as changing light bulbs, painting, sweeping steps/sidewalks, changing air filters, mowing a yard, gardening, minor plumbing repairs, or maybe someone has a need for general carpentry such as wheelchair ramps, door repair or other general repairs. This could include a door that sticks, a plumbing problem, a burned out light bulb.

Prayer Ministry
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
Individual prayer from wherever you are is vitally important, but there are also opportunities for corporate prayer at IPC. A group meets during 8:30 & 11:00 Sunday morning worship services to pray specifically for the minister and the hearts and minds of those hearing God’s word. The Men’s Tuesday morning Prayer Breakfast meets at 6:30 a.m.

Special Needs
Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. - 1 Peter 4:9-10
There are IPC members/friends who may be elderly, sick or hospitalized, and some people may have recently experienced the loss of a spouse or parent and are in need of simple encouragement in Christ. This ministry seeks to pair people in a mentoring situation and/or foster a relationship with someone else in our church who has been through a similar life experience. Also, there are members/friends who have the desire to attend church and Sunday School but do not have a car or for medical reasons cannot drive themselves to church. There is a need for drivers who may live in the neighborhood and can be paired with a person in need on a regular basis or just on special occasions.

Homebound Visits
Be devoted to one another in brotherly love. Honor one another above yourselves. Share with God’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality. - Romans 12:10,13
There are some IPC members/friends who are unable to leave home unassisted for medical reasons and are unable to attend regular worship services. There are groups from IPC made up of congregation members, a church officer and a minister that take the time to visit with a few people on Sunday afternoon or on specific occasions, praying with, taking communion to and also just basically spending time with these beloved persons who are very much a part of our church family.
